AAUW Funds

The AAUW Fund is a general fund for unrestricted gifts, which are used when and where they are most needed.  This prevents overfunded and underfunded areas that keep AAUW from reaching our full mission potential.  By donating to the AAUW Fund, you are helping incubate and grow our highly successful, community-based, mission-driven programs.

AAUW Funds has a 125 year history.  Since 1888, AAUW has awarded nearly $100 million in fellowships, grants, and awards to more than 12,000 women from over 130 countries!  These programs get results for women and girls, and that is AAUW’s top priority, now and in the future.

Branch Sister of Ann Member

As a recent example, the AAUW Corpus Christi Branch contributed to the Ann Richards American Fellowship, and the Branch has been designated as a “Branch Sister of Ann Member.”  AAUW Texas matched any and all contributions made to the Ann Richards American Fellowship Fund dollar-for-dollar until the state convention in April.  This Educational Opportunities Foundation fellowship was established in 2008 in honor of former Governor Ann Richards.

For more control over your donation’s impact, gifts can be restricted to areas within any specific fund.
