Membership in the American Association of University Women (AAUW), founded in 1881, is open to anyone holding an associate or equivalent (RN), baccalaureate, or higher degree from a regionally-accredited college or university. AAUW Corpus Christi Branch dues for 2023-2024 are $97 for regular members. This includes $72 National Association dues, $13 State dues, and $12 Branch dues. Because AAUW is a 501(c)(3) charitable membership organization, $69 of the national dues are tax deductible on your personal federal income tax return.
Student affiliation is open to undergraduate students enrolled in a two- or four-year regionally accredited educational institution and to students enrolled in graduate level programs. Students enrolled at AAUW College-University partner institutions (in Corpus Christi: Texas A&M University – Corpus Christi and Texas A&M University – Kingsville and Del Mar College) are eligible for free, national e-student affiliation and can receive great AAUW benefits by filling out a simple form on the AAUW website. Undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at non-AAUW College-University partners pay $18.81 for national dues.
Student affiliates who want to join a state and branch will pay the state and branch dues. Upon graduation with an Associate’s degree, student affiliates pay full membership dues.
AAUW National Life Membership dues (one-time payment) of $1,440 are fully tax-deductible.
